We get questions on order process, our carbon fiber or composite products, product technical and the custom quoting process. Please find the most common questions and answers below.

The Order Process
1. What products and services does Xinbo Composites offer?
Xinbo Composites offers a range of products and services related to carbon fiber composites. We provide custom carbon fiber parts, including sheets, tubes, profiles, and rollers. Our services include design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing of carbon fiber components tailored to specific requirements.
3. Do you have a Catalog?
We customize carbon fiber or composite products according to customers’ drawings or specifications, and strength requirements. We don’t have a catalog for customized products except for standard products.
5. How do I place an order with Xinbo Composites?
To place an order, simply reach out to our sales team through our website or contact information provided. Provide details about your project requirements, such as specifications, quantities, and any customization and strength needs. Our team will assist you throughout the ordering process, including providing quotes and production process, lead times, etc.
7. What is the typical turnaround time for custom carbon fiber or composite products?
The turnaround time for custom carbon fiber parts can vary depending on factors like complexity, quantity, and current workload. We strive to provide accurate estimates during the quoting process and work efficiently to meet agreed-upon timelines. Our team will communicate the expected delivery schedule for your specific order.
9. Does Xinbo Composites offer international shipping?
Yes, we provide international shipping for our products. We work with trusted logistics partners DHL, UPS, and FedEx to ensure timely and secure delivery to our customers globally. We also provide Air and sea shipment services for special or bulk orders.
11. Do you manufacture your products?
All carbon fiber or composite products are manufactured by our own factory, and prepregs, metals or plastics parts and adhesives from other suppliers.
2. Can Xinbo Composites accommodate custom orders?
Yes, we specialize in customizing carbon fiber solutions. Whether you need unique dimensions, complex shapes, or specific performance carbon fiber or composite products, we can work closely with you and meet your project needs.
4. What industries does Xinbo Composites cater to?
Xinbo Composites serves a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, sports, renewable energy, marine, medical, and industrial applications. Our carbon fiber solutions find application in various sectors where lightweight, high performance and corrosion-resistant, low thermal expansion materials are in demand.
6. Is there a minimum order?
Not for most items. Customized products usually need to make molds, and prices are based on required quantities.
8. What forms of payment do you accept?
All purchases must be prepaid full payment for samples and small orders, or a 50% deposit for bulk orders via wire transfer or by PayPal.
10. Does Xinbo Composites have a distributor near me?
Not yet. Our products are only offered to you directly from our Chinese facility at this time.
Carbon Fiber & Composite Products
1. What’s Carbon Fiber?
Carbon Fiber is a polymer and a very strong and lightweight material. Carbon fiber is five times stronger than steel and twice as stiff. Though carbon fiber is stronger and stiffer than steel, as well as lighter than steel; making it the ideal manufacturing material for many parts.
3. Which Is The Stiffer Carbon Fiber Tube: Unidirectional Tube, Fabric Tube, Or Filament Wound Tube?
Unidirectional and Fabric tubing will be slightly stiffer (in bending) than the Filament Wound tubing. Each of these processes inherently produce different tube stiffnesses due to different fiber wrap angles (or lay-up). Filament wound tube is generally better for torsional (twist) applications while Unidirectional and Fabric tubing is generally better for bending.
5. What Are Typical Weave Patterns?
Plain and 2×2 Twill Weave
7. How To Cutting or Drilling Holes?
We use CNC machining to cutting, drill holes, milling slots for tubes and plates.
2. What are the Advantages Of Carbon Fiber?
  • Super Lightweight than metal tubing
  • High Strength
  • Anti-Corrosion
  • Low Thermal Expansivity
  • Low Fiber Density
  • Good Fatigue Resistance
  • Multiple Axial Angles can be designed to reach the best performance.
4. How Much Stiffer or Lighter Is A Carbon Fiber Tube Than An Aluminum Tube?
Carbon fiber is typically 1.4-1.5 X stiffer than aluminum, and 2/3 the weight of aluminum
6. What Carbon Fiber Fabric Do You Use?
  • Standard Modulus
  • Intermediate Modulus
  • High Modulus
  • Ultra-high Modulus
8. What are The Tubes Surface Finishes Do You Provide?
We supply carbon fiber tubes surfaces with natural, sanded, painted glossy or matte.
Custom Quoting Process
1. Do You Offer Project CAD Design?
Usually, customers offer a 3D or 2D drawing for quotations, and we also provide chargeable CAD design services.
3. Which Manufacturing Processes Do You Use?
We use roll-wrapped, filament winding, autoclave, mold pressing and pultrusion processes.
5. Are There Discounts For Bulk Orders?
We usually evaluate costs according to your order quantities and production circles, then offer reasonable and competitive prices.
2. What Requirements Need To Be Considered?
We usually consider the strengths requirements according products application and working and assembly requirements.
4. What Tooling Will Be Needed?
If you customized composites products that we don’t have a same size of tooling in stock, you have to order a tooling, we will choose a proper material of tooling according to products and cost, such as stainless steel, aluminum, or fiberglass, etc.
6. How Long Does It Take To Get A Quote?
Usually, 2~5 business days. The timeframe for a custom quote will vary depending on the original information you provided, and special requirements such as machining, coating, printing, Chemical or mechanical physical test, etc.
